Audemars Piguet Japan decided to initiate the "Support Japan" project
このたびの東日本大震災により被災された皆さまに謹んでお見舞い申し上げます。皆さまの安全と被災地の一日も早い復旧を心よりお祈り申し上げます。
オーデマ ピゲ ジャパン株式会社（本社：東京都中央区/代表取締役兼最高経営責任者 麦野 豪）は、東日本大震災により甚大な被害を受けた被災地の復旧ならびに復興を目的とする支援活動"SUPPORT JAPAN"を開始します。
2011年度に予定していた年間計画を全面的に見直し、イベントやプロモーションに関わる全ての活動を"SUPPORT JAPAN"の一環とすると共に、中・長期的にかつ継続的な支援のため、下記の活動を行います。
なお、オーデマ ピゲ ジャパンは"SUPPORT JAPAN"による復興支援金、総額1億円を目標としており、全額を日本赤十字社を通じて寄付いたします。

For the few months, Audemars Piguet Japan has carefully considered of the responsibility as the part of the firm running the economic activity in Japan. As the result of discussion with the Head Quarter in Switzerland, we decided to start up the project called “SUPPORT JAPAN” which runs by Audemars Piguet Japan. Throughout this project, APJ aim to raise 100 million yen as the donation which will be sending to Red Cross Japan.

なお、オーデマ ピゲでは、全ての時計の売上の一部を環境保護に役立てるべく、1992年に「環境保護と意識改革を軸に、世界の森林保護への貢献に取り組むこと」を趣旨にAP財団を設立。この度の東日本大震災に向けても、AP財団では、支援の方向でプランを進めております。
“SUPPORT JAPAN is the project which leads by Audemars Piguet Japan and calls out support from world wide AP fans throughout AP world network. Audemars Piguet Japan has already started the operation of importing safe water from Head Quarter in Switzerland for the expecting mothers and infants.
However, as the part of the company operating in Japan, the support should not be one-time only, but it needs to be in short, medium and long term continuously with the meaningful vision. This decision equals to the firm’s responsibility. We will actively accomplish the economic activities, but at the same time we will raise for the support as much as we could. “ says Mr. Mugino, CEO of Audemars Piguet Japan.
